Media Center

The library will be closed over the winter break, but the digital library is always open - we have nearly 2000 books in the online library available for you check out and read on your tablet, Chromebook  or phone.  Stop by the library and we can show you how to download a book directly onto your phones.

Congratulations to Girls soccer on their win last night over Glendale. Goals were score by sophomore Berenice and Senior Raquel. Next game is Friday at 7pm vs Campo Verde.

The 3rd session for Driver's Ed starts Saturday, February 3rd at 8:00AM to Noon. Cost is $210 dollars. You need a valid driver license, permit and student ID. You need to register at the Moon Valley bookstore by January 26th. 

Media Center

The media center will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday during school for testing. We will be open before school and hopefully after school as well.  We will be back to normal - or as normal as the library gets - on Thursday.

Congratulations to Boys soccer who defeated Maryvale last night 6-1. Abraham Cruz scored 3 goals, Jonathan Kasongo and Edman Hurtado each scored one, and Freshman Josh Galvez scored his first Varsity goal!

NROTC

  “Apollo NJROTC had a great weekend competing at the Sunnyslope Viking Team Fitness Challenge.  27 Apollo Cadets competed against 11 other Phoenix valley JROTC teams for the glory in 11 different athletic events. 

 

    Apollo took first place in the tug of war, first in Dodgeball, first in the IRON CADET, second in the extreme volley tennis, and third in Flag Football.

 

    Apollo NJROTC scored SECOND PLACE overall out of 12 teams.  Well done APOLLO NJROTC!

Good morning Hawks, your girls and boys cross-country teams did a splendid job yesterday. They ran in the District Classic Meet.  The medalist for the girls was Sarae Morales. On the boys side, there were the four freshmen medalist of Ivan Gonzalez, Miguel Pichardo, Raymundo Aguirre, and Angel Ordaz Perez. In the varsity boys race, medals went to Saul Valdez and David Ordaz Perez. The rest of the girls and boys ran great races. Have a grand day Apollo.

Homecoming

Pre-sold tickets for the homecoming dance will be sold at the quad during both lunches for $15. They will be $20 at the door. Don’t wait, buy them now!

Hey Hawks, this year for homecoming week student council is introducing our stamp cards. How it works is that during Homecoming week if you get your card signed five times by a student council member you will be put into a raffle to win a Homecoming ticket.
